Tascam Portastudio 464 Vtg 4 Track Machine Cassette Tape Studio Recorder

It powers up and the tape functions respond nicely. When I tried to play a cassette, however, the sound level indicators are working but I could not figure out how to get playback sound thru the headphone jack. I don’t have speakers to test playback, but I would assume there would be the same issue. I also noticed that the DBX NR switch on the back of the unit has broken off. (it can be toggled on/off using a paper clip). I do not know much about these old tape machines but feel free to ask any questions before purchasing. It does not have a box or instructions.
