Vintage Sony Super Beta SL-HF2000 Video Cassette Recorder WORKS With REMOTE. This item is an amazing estate sale find, in working condition with its original remote control. The front pull down panel is intact and functional. Tested the functions of play, rewind and fast forward. Recording was NOT tested. It has been generally cleaned and wiped down from dust. Some of the white specks you see in photos is lint from the cleaning cloth. It has NOT been taken apart to clean inside at all. There is dust present in small nooks and crannies, mostly on the backside of machine. There are small scratches and minor blemishes on the machine, but does not affect functionality. Included will be the only Beta tape we could test the machine with; a home recording from the TV of Michael Jordan when he retired from basketball the first time before the 1993-94 season. It was channel 5 in Chicago, and after the press conference it continued to record a movie/show with Mayim Bialik. He mentions his father’s death during the press conference. We tested the machine by hooking it up to a small’travel’ TV that has the plug inserts on the front of the TV. Included with this listing is the original remote, original power cord, an A/V cable, and the machine. Also, it will be double boxed to protect as much as possible.
