Sharp GF-8787 Boombox Vintage Portable Radio Metal Cassette Tape Player Recorder. Nice condition with a few minor scuffs or scratches on the body. The antenna and handle are both intact and usable. The battery cover is included. There are no cracks or broken pieces anywhere that I can see. All knobs and buttons are still intact and work great. Function: I have thoroughly used withOUT batteries-all testing was with a generic 12volt ac adapter. The battery compartment looks like it needs cleaned up. Not horrible corrosion, but some, and the foam on the back of the battery door is dry rotted and dusty. I do not have the original power cord. The channel will change smoothly and both speakers are working great. A little crackle when you and just volume. I have NOT used electrical contact cleaner.. The cassette player does work. All following functions work: play, pause, fast forward, and stop work perfectly. It rewinds with no cassette in the but once one is in there it doesn’t want to rewind. It doesn’t eat tapes!!! Again-Did not test record. The volume on cassette function is fine and loud. Whole thing is loud when turned up.
