A sweet Sony EL-5 Elcaset deck from the 70s. Matches the famous V-FET series of amps. Elcaset was a technically superior format Sony, Teac and Panasonic developed as a higher quality compact cassette format. Like Betamax, it never took off but remains a historical curiosity. I don’t have any Elcasets so I haven’t tested it properly. I can verify that the meters light up and the transport buttons work.
