Upon inspection of the device, I heavier scuffs and scratches on the wooden cabinet. There are multiple scratches, chips, and dings on the left side of the cabinet (see picture #5). The bottom edge of the cabinet is peeling and frayed on the right side (see picture #7). There are heavier scratches, dings, and a dent on the top of the cabinet (see picture #8). There are heavier scuffs and scratches on the bottom of the cabinet (see picture #9). All jacks and connectors are in good cosmetic condition. I was able to power on the device with the attached power cord. The back lights and VU meters are tested to be working. The device will play, rewind, and forward a tape for roughly 3-30 seconds since the belts are work and skip when in use. All testing was done in short spurts due to the above issue. I was able to test the RCA input jacks to be working using an in-house media player. Using an in-house powered speaker, I was able to test the RCA output jacks to be working. I was able to test the Phones jack to be working using an in-house pair of headphones. I was able to test the Mic R and L to be working using an in-house Dynamic microphone. I was able to record to an in-house blank cassette tape. All knobs and buttons are tested to be working. The Reset counter is tested to be working; however, I was unable to tell if the counter On/Off was working properly. No further testing could be completed due to lack of knowledge and/or resources.
