Pioneer CT-F900 Cassette Player and Recorder, vintage circa 1978, blue’digitron’ lights, in very good shape. Looks very good from front. Woods sides have some scratches as seen in pictures. New belts, cleaned inside and out, all switches/pots cleaned with deoxit and heads demagnetized. Looks very good and plays 100%. As this is a vintage cassette deck going on 40 years old! The Pioneer CT-F900 is a 2-motor, stereo cassette deck with microprocessor and all electronic, 3-head transport. The electronic digital counter of the CT-F900 permits memory play and repeat and memory stop, while the Digitron tube display with 20 segments for recording and playback level monitoring replaces traditional meters. Other features include Dolby NR switch, chrome tape sensor with automatic bias and equalization switching, monitoring for tape and source, continuously adjustable bias, and repeat function permitting infinite replay from any point of the tape. Outstanding frequency response and low distortion are obtained from the Sendust Alloy (iron, aluminum and silicone compound) record/play head combination. Type: 3-head, single compact cassette deck. Track System: 4-track, 2-channel stereo. Tape Speed: 4.75 cm/s. Heads: 1 x combination record/playback, 1 x erase. Motor: 1 x reel, 1 x capstan. Tape Type: type I, FeCr, CrO2. Frequency Response: 20Hz to 19kHz. Signal to Noise Ratio: 64dB. Wow and Flutter: 0.04%. Total Harmonic Distortion: 1.3%. Input: 60mV (line), 0.3mV (mic). Output: 0.45V (line).
