Onkyo TA-201 Vintage Tape Cassette Deck Player and Recorder. This unit is well cared for and looks fantastic. The majority of its life has been spent packed in the original carton which is included. 2 Head fixed cassette decks provide the best in audio quality for the price. This was made at the technical peak of the cassette format and is a great performer. It has a nice brushed and anodized finish that has a deep luster and the overall build has real heft. Features include, Full Logic Control, Dolby B/C & HX Pro, MPX filter, Bias Control, and digital counter. Operation and Sound quality is excellent. HX Pro is great for expanding the dynamic headroom and high frequency response. Condition is good, this has seen light use and looks very nice with some wear and scratching mostly to the top due to component stacking. Nothing is more important when selecting a vintage tape deck than it being clean and in good condition. I’ve also cleaned the head and tape path and performed a demagnetization.
