Unit powers up with batteries, I don’t have the power supply, plays, records, voice activated recording works along with the VU meter, VU meter light works, VU meter works with battery check, volume adjustment is static free, REW is fast and strong, speaker sound is good. Voice activated recording – please see picture#2. BAD THINGS – the playback is faster than normal and speed adjustment dial doesn’t make it to slow down.
