I have tested all capabilities in regards to the playing of a cassette, including play/stop/eject/fast forward/rewind, as well as the volume, and the headphone jack. I do not have the equipment needed to test all aspects of the microphone/recording part of this machine, so I do not know the functionality of those features, and they are untested. Item is tested and working with both the power cord, and 3’D’ batteries.
