Sony WM-D6C Vintage Cassette Walkman Recorder Nice but Has Issues AS IS

This is a Sony WM-D6C Vintage Walkman Professional Recorder. From a local estate. Cosmetics-Nice and clean overall with just some minor wear. Looks like it was not used much. Would make a nice display item in a collection. Battery holder is clean. One of the internal body contacts pins has some green pitting but are generally clean otherwise. The pause/eject button is loose and shifts around some but still functions. Operationally I was able to play a tape smoothly, recorded an audio source and played back clearly, tape counter works, and other controls generally responded accordingly. I did find some issues. The fast forward and rewind do not work at all. Also the phones jack is bad and intermittent. I had to put pressure on it for both sides to work. Additionally I had a hard time getting the battery pack to make proper contact with the internal body pins. I had to release and pull out the pack a bit for it to make contact. It was in storage for many years. So this will need professional service or parts replaced to be fully functional. See lots of photos of what you are getting.
