This is a used Tascam 688 Midistudio. This unit has been professionally serviced. This includes brand new belts, full adjustment and service of tape drive mechanism and diagnostics. It is ready to go at home or in the studio. This 688 Midistudio has been discounted as it has no tape door, however there is a chance the new owner could find one in time. Also, the DBX noise reduction switch for channels 1 – 4 has broken off. This does not detract from overall functionality of the unit. Personally I wouldn’t use the DBX anyway. Cosmetically this unit is in great condition for its age, there is some minor wear and tear from use over the years. This unit is 100V.
