Vintage TEAC V-95RX Auto-Reverse Stereo Cassette Deck. Offered here is a vintage TEAC V-95RX auto-reverse stereo cassette deck, made in Japan during the early 1980s. This example is in very good overall cosmetic condition and has been tested and is fully functional. About the TEAC V-95RX. The V-95RX was one of TEAC’s feature-rich consumer cassette decks of the early 1980s. It combines bidirectional recording and playback with automatic reverse, Dolby B and dbx noise reduction, support for Normal, CrO2 and Metal tapes, electronic transport controls, program-search functions and a motorized recording-level fader. TEAC also offered the RC-95 wired remote control as an optional accessory. One of the more unusual features of this model is its fast auto-reverse system. The transport uses tape/leader sensing to change direction near the end of a side, allowing playback or recording to continue in the opposite direction with minimal interruption. This cassette deck has been tested and is fully functional. Playback, recording and transport operation were tested and the deck is operating properly.
