This vintage Sony CFS-45 boombox has been tested and is working. Cassette player works and plays tapes. Both speakers produce sound. The volume knob functions correctly; however, a light static/crackling noise is heard only while rotating the knob up or down. Once the volume is set, audio is clear. This is common with vintage electronics and may benefit from internal cleaning. Stereo cassette recorder. Automatic Music Sensor (AMS). Balance and tone controls. Telescoping antenna (intact). AC powered (120V) and battery capable (batteries not included). Made in Japan. Good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use, including light scuffs and marks.
