Pioneer CT-F1250 Vintage Stereo Cassette Tape Deck

The Pioneer CT-F1250 is a flagship three-head cassette deck from the late 1970s, representing the peak of Pioneer’s analog tape engineering. Featuring a closed-loop dual capstan transport, direct-drive reel motors, and manual bias/EQ adjustments, it delivers superb tape stability, wide frequency response, and low distortion. The CT-F1250’s striking design includes large, illuminated VU meters, precision metal controls, and a brushed-aluminum faceplate framed by a real wood cabinet. Built to last and revered for its combination of audiophile performance, robust construction, and vintage aesthetics, the CT-F1250 remains a prized piece for serious cassette enthusiasts. In good cosmetic condition, has some scratches/marks and some rust on the case itself but otherwise faceplate is pretty clean, see pictures for details. Unit has been deep cleaned from the inside out to remove as much dust and blemishes as possible. This includes a vacuuming with a soft bristle brushing of the interior for dust removal. Front plate has been polished to remove as many scratches/blemishes as possible. Only comes with what you see in the pictures which includes the unit itself only. Unit has been fully tested and works great after basic servicing was completed. All functions work great now. All belts were deteriorated when we received the unit so we cleaned all the pulleys and replaced the belts. Pinch rollers were cleaned with Rubber Renue solution to try to clean and restore them as much as possible. Pots and switches have been cleaned with Deoxit to ensure crackle free knob/switch adjustments and music playback. Please note it appears the previous owner replaced the power cord plug but does not affect functionality. The unit itself could use some tape calibration since we noticed the left channel is a little stronger than the right channel, this is evident from the VU meters but is something anyone can do from home if they have a calibration cassette (which we don’t have at the moment).
