Portable cassette tape recorder “Vesna-207-stereo” was produced by Zaporozhye EMZ “Iskra” since the 4th quarter of 1982. The tape recorder is designed to record mono or stereo phonograms on magnetic tape and play them in mono mode with its own loudspeaker, and in stereo with an external UCU. The LPM uses a contactless electric motor “BDS-0.14M” or a collector. There is a switchable noise reduction system, automatic transfer of the LPM to the stop mode when the power is turned off, the tape ends or the cassette is faulty. Automatic adjustment of the recording level is provided. There are peak overload indicators, an electret microphone, a magnetic tape consumption counter with a “memory” device, a tape type switch.
