The stereo cassette tape recorder-attachment “Mayak-232-stereo” has been produced by the Kyiv plant “Mayak” since 1985. It is designed to record and play back phonograms in MK cassettes and works with 3 types of tapes. There are: HF and LF tone controls; separate control of the recording and playback levels; electronic indicator of the recording and playback level; light indication of power on; fluorescent indication of UWB, microphone, recording mode and type of magnetic tapes; tape consumption counter; “Memory” device; connection of speakers and stereo telephones; UWB; wired remote control with main modes; input switch. Wow and flutter coefficient ±0.2%. Operating frequency range for tape made of: gamma iron oxide – 40…12500 Hz; chromium dioxide – 40…14000 Hz; gamma iron oxide-chromium dioxide – 40…16000 Hz. The noise and interference level in the Z/V channel is -50…56 dB. Maximum power on the speaker system with a resistance of 4 Ohm is 4 W. Power consumption is 38 W. Dimensions of the MP are 460x130x360 mm. Weight is 9.2 kg. The tape recorder-set-top box “Mayak-232-stereo” (one of the development options) in the 6th advertising image differs significantly from the serial model.
