Vintage Soviet cassette tape recorder Topaz D-202. Which was used by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, KGB, military and other Soviet intelligence services for audio recording of interrogations, reports and more. Supplied in original packaging, it was equipped with an interesting and original set of special accessories (see photo). Belt speed 2.38 cm/s. Frequency range 250 – 5000 Hz. The voltage at the linear output is 250-400 mV. Speed?? deceleration – 12-25%. Adjustment of rollback time 1-5 sec. The weight of the voice recorder with microphone is no more than 1.8 kg + additional accessories, packaging. Recorder dimensions – 211 x 174 x 64 mm. The tape recorder has a good set of functions. The microphone has a main mode switch – record, stop, play, rewind. The microphone can also be used as a speaker, although the voice recorder has a regular speaker with a power of 0.25 W. Recording is carried out from a microphone, telephone (adapter required) or line input. Playback is carried out via line output, microphone-speaker, standard speaker or TM-2 earphone. Also, a hidden microphone, on a suction cup (for discreet mounting). The handheld microphone also has an LED indicator for recording and low battery. Control from a foot controller is possible (2 pieces included). The recorder has controls for volume, tone, rewind and slow playback. When the tape runs out or breaks, a beep sounds, but there is no hitchhiking. The recorder is powered by 6 C batteries or an external 12V 500mA AC/DC adapter (not included). The central contact is negative polarity. The tape speed is 2.38 cm/sec (about half the normal speed) and is not suitable for playing back pre-recorded tapes at standard speed.
