CLARION MD-8080A Dual Stereo Cassette Deck Player / Recorder 1977 VINTAGE JAPAN

This is a rare cassette deck by Clarion MD-8080A. It’s featured in the movie Baby Driver. Cosmetically in great shape with no visible scratches on the metal. The clear plastic has a chip on the corner as shown. It is playing cassettes but I do not hear the sound and the vu meter doesn’t move. I do not have time to find out the cause and it may be an easy fix.
