Vintage Akai GXC-760D Tape Recorder Cassette Deck

I bought this cassette deck a few years ago and had intended on refurbish it but ever got around to it. All of the lights work and the FFWD and REV work but when I press the play button it does not move the cassette. It has some damage to the back of the unit. Also, the power cord is missing the plug at the end of it, so this piece will need to be replaced. I have not tested any of the other features.
