The belt has been replaced with a new one, the heads have been cleaned, and the gears lubed! The play sound is clear, crisp and smooth! The fast winding is strong in both directions. The auto reverse/ manual direction is quick and seamless! All functions are working! The aa battery box has all tabs, and clips firmly to the base of this player. The Sony WM-F203 is miniature compact cassette player/recorder from 1989. The advantages are that uses keys to acttivate cassette functions, and the battery tray tabs are reinforced so the are not apt to breakage. This player has dolby B, and wide fM band 76-108MHz. You can record strait fron the radio, or plug in a mic for live recordings. (mic not included) Runs on a single aa size battery. Also included is the leather? Cover, aa battery holder, and Sony earphone holder with cord winder. (NO battery, earphones or cassette tape, not included).
