A wonderful example of innovative stereo design by Panasonic – this ghettoblaster made in the 80’s not only features the normal tape player/recorder and radio but also a fully working turntable! The turntable plays the smaller sized records and slides out further for playing full size LP records. For a unit that includes a built-in turntable, radio, cassette deck, and stereo speakers, it is quite compact, and probably about as small as you can make it with all these features. It has been fully dismantled , cabinet cleaned , speaker grills re-sprayed , new belts on cassette deck and record deck and a new stylus , out of tolerance components have been replaced on the circuit boards , after re-assembly the unit has been run for over 30 hours and no faults found , The back has been re-sprayed a metalic grey-green , which was as near to the original colour , that we could find.
