I did open and test but appears to have never been used. Radio and Cassette and clock all work. There are a few blemishes including a spot on clear plastic key compartment door. Also AA battery (orginal) that runs clock was still in and had corroded. Cleaned connections and put new 2AA battery in it and it worked fine. Clock runs on AA battery and radio and cassette player on 6 C batteries(neither included). C battery connectors and appeared like they hadn’t even been used. Cassette and Radio works great. Very rare pristine model from 1985. Again can’t guarantee it wasn’t used but it appears to have not been or just indoors slightly. Very nice 40 year old beach radio.
