Vintage Sony WM-F65 Walkman Cassette Player AM/FM Radio Working (new belt)

This is a vintage Sony Walkman WM-F65 Radio/Cassette- Player + Recorder in working condition. It has been thoroughly repaired. The cassette and the radio work! New belt/Cleaned up internally & externally. Lubed where only lube should go (internally). Clean volume (Potentiometer) no cutouts or scratching. This one is good. It just sounds good. I’ve been repairing electronics since I was a young. Also I’m an 80s tech enthusiast and repair cassette decks/turntables, etc. This unit did require some TLC but as you can see it is fairly good. Condition considering its age. Best of the units I have. Given the age, expect some typical scuffs on. The unit- it’s not brand new. What you see pictured is what you will receive. Given this Walkman records and it doesn’t have any built in mics, I required the proper Sony add on mic to complete the picture. During testing you hear the recording through the headphones- very clear. In my basic testing it recorded my voice perfectly fine without any unusual background. It records in stereo. My understanding is you need to use this mic in order to record with the unit. Other mics most likely will not work (Sony only). Update- I’ve been asked if the uptake & supply spool gear have any cracks. There are no unusual noises when this unit plays. You will receive a working unit when you receive it. As I’ve mentioned (more than once), this unit. Does work and has been inspected/repaired to bring it back to working. It is a vintage Walkman and. With that it should be treasured and not abused.
