FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. Here’s what I know. It uses batteries so it’s portable, and also has an AC cord. It includes the original manual with schematics, right and left microphones with stands, and 2 keys to lock the briefcase. The microphones store under the center panel. It has two removable speakers with cords so you can set them outside the case. It will play records up to size 33. Thin profile real briefcase. The Bad- The radio part works great but the cassette and phonograph need repair. The cassette will operate as far as Play, RW, FW etc, but the sound isn’t working correctly. Same with the phonograph. The platter will turn when you move the tonearm over the platter, but the sound isn’t working correctly. The stylus is there. It has not been tested with batteries. So if you’re experienced with electronics this would be a fun project restoring a very cool rare item. My thinking is that it probably sat for a long time. It doesn’t appear to have been used very much.
