Vintage TASCAM PORTASTUDIO 246 Multitrack Portastudio w Remote AS IS

Vintage TASCAM Portastudio 246. 4 Track Cassette Recorder. It was my go to before switching over to Pro tools in the mid 2000’s. I have not used this in almost 20 years at this point. This comes with a remote control (SONY RM-30) and I have confirmed it still works – see video. The 246 switches on, all meters/lights work etc. Tape controls work, but PLEASE BE AWARE it will need work. Play and Fast Forward seem to play at same fast speed. Rewind plays at much slower speed. Clearly it might need new belt/some surgery. I have no way of testing the machine beyond this. Please ask any questions. I have the instruction manual for this somewhere. If i can find it before the sale ends, I will include it. If not, well if you are looking at this you will probably already know how to use the 246. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
