You are looking at a TECHNICS RS-M230 Vintage Hi-Fi Cassette tape deck. Stunning vintage Cassette deck from Technics. Changed all belts, checked all Electrolytics capacitors and replaced any that were out of spec. All controls cleaned with Caigs professional cleaning products. Performance checked against Nakamichi Service tapes. It features Dolby B, auto tape select, analogue tape counter, timer, headphone socket with output level, rear stereo microphone sockets, Record balance control (two record level control), microprocessor logic control & play/record timer control, Normal, Chrome and Metal position and bright Flourescent VU meters. It’s in great working order & very good condition. Few scratches on top. Little use over the years no sign of any wear on heads or pinch roller. Type: 2-head, single compact cassette deck. Track System: 4-track, 2-channel stereo. Tape Speed: 4.8 cm/s. Heads: 1 x record/playback, 1 x erase. Tape Type: type I, CrO2, Metal. Frequency Response: 20Hz to 18kHz. Signal to Noise Ratio: 68dB. Wow and Flutter: 0.038%. Input: 60mV (line), 0.25mV (mic). Output: 0.4V (line). Dimensions: 430 x 119 x 293mm. Very stable, clear & detailed. Recording are faithful too. Mains leads pictured comes fitted with a UK mains plug. IMPORTANT ANTI FRAUD PROCEDURE. I have placed security seals over some of the screws. Please do not open this item if you intend to return it.
