These vintage electronics are 35+ years old now. And as such, something will likely go wrong with this sometime in the future. I recently serviced this unit. I replaced the main flat drive belt and the counter belt. I also checked and cleaned all tires as well as the pinch roller and the capstan. The tires are in good condition, I added a touch of rubber rejuvenator and they are nice and grippy. Should last a while longer. I also cleaned old lube and added new lube to those areas that needed it. I tested the unit and it plays and sound good. The fwd and rew buttons work and are smooth with a good quality cassette. All buttons and switches are working. The nicest part about this unit is the LED meter. It is super nice. No common on an older model deck. And the meters are working good. Light is nice and bright. Cosmetically the unit is in very good condition. Only minor dings and scuffs. The side wood panels do have some scratches and some chips. This is a very, very nice deck and hard to find them especially in this condition. This is a heavy unit. I will pack to arrive to you safely. Please ask questions if you have them.
