Vintage Sony Walkman WM-D6C Professional Cassette Player & Recorder from 1984. Light scratches on the plastic window but unless looking for it, you won’t see it. Ports are all in good shape, no clogs or damage of any sort. As for the mechanisms, tapes play smoothly and at the right speed. Play, Stop/Eject, Fast Forward & Rewind all work as they should with a tape. The only slight fault with this part is the pause button, which will not stay on paused if you release it, meaning you can pause it, but you will have to keep your finger on the button (however I’m sure this is repairable with the right expertise). Volume control works perfectly, slider slides smoothly. Dolby Noise Reduction types all work fine, as well as the playback for all kinds of tape (Normal, CrO2 & Metal). The volume peak and battery indicator lights work as they should from my experience. For anybody wondering, this item doesn’t come with the original It’s a Sony! Barely noticeably light wearing on the Sony logo, you’d only notice this if you were looking for it. Rest of the case has no scratches, tears, wrinkles or anything of the sort. Buttons are in tact. Batteries & Tape in Picture NOT included. If item is deemed to be in considerably worse condition than that of which it was sent in, a dispute will be opened. In the inside of this Walkman as well as the case are safety micro dots. If returning this item, please do your best to package it as close as if not to the same level of protection of what it was in when it was posted to you. Please message me for any questions!
