RARE Vintage Denki Onkyo Dokorder Sideways Cassette Deck 8090 Player Recorder

For your consideration is this extremely obscure and unique Denki Onkyo Dokorder Stereo Cassette Player/Recorder Model 8090. What’s neat about this deck is that the door opens and loads sideways, as compared to the most common orientation. I had no idea what the deal was with this unit, or details about the brand, or even a price, for that matter. In doing my research, I could only find 3 examples of this unit on the entire internet, and no information relating to value (in a world with 7 billion people, and 325+ million in the US). I’m not sure how “high end” this unit is, but it’s definitely an early deck. The Denki Onkyo here is not to be confused with the more commonly known Onkyo. I tested it and it powers on, but nothing happens when I push the buttons (aside from the door opening and the power coming on), so it is untested beyond powering on. Another neat feature on this unit is the plug in the back that allows you to change the input voltage depending on your region or setup. It would go great with a 70s wood cabinet/silver faceplate receiver, etc. This unit is stereo, and there is a DIN port in the back not sure if this could be hooked up to a computer (via a legacy port or adapters) or if that was used in foreign applications besides the typical L & R RCA input & outputs. This may not be a Nakamichi, but it’s still an extremely rare and unique unit. Any questions, feel free to ask.
