Rare Vintage Tascam Portastudio 246 from 1985. Add some nice grainy tape sound to your mixes with this rare and vintage 4 Track cassette tape recorder from Tascam. Released in 1985, the Tascam 246 Portastudio is widely regarded as the best analogue mixer/recorder ever produced for home studio recording. These are hard to find, and rarely in this condition as it has just come from a professional service. This is a used unit however is in great condition. This 246 has just come from a service. This included but is not limited to new belts, full service and adjustment of tape transport and any minor issues were addressed. This unit is running beautifully and is a pleasure to use. As this 246 has been serviced it is ready for its new owner to use at home or in the studio! Cosmetic condition is great, there is some minor wear and tear from use over the years but nothing major. Please be aware this unit is 120V. You will need to ensure you have the correct step-down transformer before powering on this unit.
