WOW – wish I could keep this but like many of my old player, they start to play up and I can’t fix them. Here’s the drum – The issue is the volume… THE RECORD PLAYER WORKS – including the auto open and assisted close mechanism. THE TAPE PLAYER WORKS – Plays tapes – yep you heard it here first.. RECORD, adjusting the volume causing a scratchy sound in the speakers, and when it’s in a bad mood, the volume will fade in and out. TAPE, is playing well on a low volume, but weill not tolerate being turned up, it will groan louder than the tape its playing. RADIO ALL GOOD, volume scratchy at times. Beautiful cosmetic condition, see all the pics. Sad to part with it, but I have to get something issue-free. Can be collected please enquire. When we can, retro hub store will use recycled packaging.
