That means EVERY device function is working properly as it should be and no parts are missing. However, there may be some minor cosmetic signs of wear like some mild scratches and the like. All parts that have failed due to material degradation over time or to improper care/storage have been replaced. Components that appear to be close to failure, like a bulging or leaking capacitor, have also been replaced. I put in a lot of time, attention, and detail into every repair to ensure that each device is working like new for as long as possible. Unfortunately, it seems that there are always a few people who ruin things for everyone. Records in STEREO from either the built-in dual L/R microphones or from the line-in “Mic -plug in power” jack [3.5mm phono]. Voice Operated Recording (VOR) with On/Off toggle switch and Low/High sound sensitivity toggle. Equalizer switch (Playback only) for “Normal” (IEC Type-I 70us cassettes) or “CrO²/Metal” (IEC Type-II/IV Chromium Dioxide 120us cassettes). Tape Speed (Playback/Recording) rolling switch. Pause (Playback/Recording/FF/REW) slide switch. Cuts power to the motor when engaged [very handy for reducing mechanical noise in between recording scenes/songs]. Counter Reset switch. 3-digit rolling analog counter adds “001” for each 3 seconds of tape in Playback/FF (subtracts 001 in REW) pressing while stopped resets counter to “000”.
