It is a little dirty still, but the plastic is in good condition. It is missing the antenna, but the radio works still as well as the tuning meter. The Cassette player also works, but you have to put the Cassette in perfectly for the spinner to slot correctly. In the pictures you can see that the right spinner(rewind spinner) is missing. When you press the rewind, it still spins but its missing the gear part at the end to actually spin the Cassette. I usually just flip the Cassette and fast forward to reset it. All of the dials work on top. The speakers mostly work below 50% volume, this might fix itself if you adjust the left and right balance, and there is a little static when you are adjusting the volume knob. It also comes with the power cord. I have videos of it playing music. The speakers might be a simple fix, but I dont have the most experience with an older cassette player.

Vintage Superscope CRS-2200 Stereo Cassette Recorder (2). Designed by Marantz U. Produced in Taiwan. Beautiful and hard-to-find Superscope CRS-2200 portable stereo system from the late 1970s. Superscope was owned by Marantz during this period, making this a desirable vintage piece for collectors. Radio works properly. Cassette player is NOT working. I do not have the skills or equipment to perform further technical testing. Cassette deck door does not consistently close/latch – sometimes it closes properly, sometimes it does not. Cosmetically very clean for its age with normal minor signs of use. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Original Owner’s Manual. Additional original documents shown. ? Please check my other listings – I also have another Superscope CRS-2200 available.

I still need to test a few of the options on here like the cassette deck (expect repairs but we will see) the radio functions well – some scratchy controls that need to be cleaned up – rare piece and deff worth grabbing if you’ve got an eclectic collection going. Thanks for looking – anything I can help with don’t hesitate to ask.
