Really nice Panasonic Stereo Radio Cassette player/recorder. Model RX-FT530 I think this is considered a boombox? I played oldies in it! It has never had batteries in its compartment! Takes 6 “D” batteries. Matsushita Electric Industries Co. Cassettes and batteries not included!

It is a little dirty still, but the plastic is in good condition. It is missing the antenna, but the radio works still as well as the tuning meter. The Cassette player also works, but you have to put the Cassette in perfectly for the spinner to slot correctly. In the pictures you can see that the right spinner(rewind spinner) is missing. When you press the rewind, it still spins but its missing the gear part at the end to actually spin the Cassette. I usually just flip the Cassette and fast forward to reset it. All of the dials work on top. The speakers mostly work below 50% volume, this might fix itself if you adjust the left and right balance, and there is a little static when you are adjusting the volume knob. It also comes with the power cord. I have videos of it playing music. The speakers might be a simple fix, but I dont have the most experience with an older cassette player.

Sony TC-K81 Stereo Cassette Deck, a sought-after vintage Sony component that would make a great addition to a classic audio setup or collection. I do not have the additional audio equipment necessary to perform a complete test of all inputs, outputs, recording functions, or sound quality. Functions tested and working. Unit powers on properly. Tape counter is functioning. Transport controls respond as expected during basic testing. The unit shows cosmetic wear consistent with age and previous use, including scratches/scuffs and other normal signs of wear. Please review all photos carefully, as they are considered part of the description and show the exact condition of the unit you will receive. Great opportunity for a vintage Sony collector, audio enthusiast, or someone looking to complete a period-correct Hi-Fi setup.

The tuner unit includes a one-touch power operation system, LED illuminated dial pointer, and manual tuning knob. The dual cassette deck offers high-speed dubbing, Dolby NR, and metal tape compatibility with a peak level meter and integrated tape counter. Both units showcase a sleek silver finish with clear display windows and responsive tactile buttons. These components utilize a specialized ribbon cable connection system, typically designed for use with a matching LXI Series amplifier. Perfect for vintage audio enthusiasts looking to complete or expand their modular home stereo setup.
