Vintage Ampex Micro 20 Audio Cassette Recorder / Player Complete with Case and Microphone – No Manual. Condition is used very good. Has been tested and works nicely. Belts appear to be in good working condition and sounds pretty good upon playback. Very minimal static when adjusting the controls and the speaker appears to be in good shape. Don’t have any recordable tapes so I couldn’t test that function but it should work nicely as intended as it was taken great care of by the previous owner. Complete with microphone, power cord, and storage case but is missing the original manual. The case has become very stiff over time and is made of some type of leather or vinyl material. The case has a split in the cover beside the volume control but is otherwise in solid shape and stills works nicely as intended. The unit itself is in great shape cosmetically just a few minor mostly trivial blemishes. Appears to have had very light usage. Runs on AC power or 6 type D batteries. Please look over the photos closely and ask any questions you may have before purchasing and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability. The pictures are of the actual items. Tape playback is tested to be functional. VU meter is not working. I’m not sure what’music select’ does – it’s not lighting up. Power plug is replaced with a US one. A video recording is attached for your reference. You’ll likely need some work to get it back to its factory condition. Good for those who wants a project cassette player.
