Vintage Superscope CRS-2200 Stereo Cassette Recorder (2). Designed by Marantz U. Produced in Taiwan. Beautiful and hard-to-find Superscope CRS-2200 portable stereo system from the late 1970s. Superscope was owned by Marantz during this period, making this a desirable vintage piece for collectors. Radio works properly. Cassette player is NOT working. I do not have the skills or equipment to perform further technical testing. Cassette deck door does not consistently close/latch – sometimes it closes properly, sometimes it does not. Cosmetically very clean for its age with normal minor signs of use. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Original Owner’s Manual. Vintage Marantz PMD 360 Stereo Cassette Field Tape Recorder For Parts/Repair. READ: Good vintage condition cosmetically, but could use further detailing. Tested with AC cord only (battery comp needs corrosion cleared). Unit seemed to be powered on, but only heard a soft hum, no movement with Play, FF, RW small jump on stop. Deck window popped out. We do not monitor inquiries Saturday, Sunday or holidays. We source from estates in San Francisco California and therefore have limited knowledge as to the past life of listed items. Unless otherwise noted, electronic items will be tested to power on. We love happy customers!

I still need to test a few of the options on here like the cassette deck (expect repairs but we will see) the radio functions well – some scratchy controls that need to be cleaned up – rare piece and deff worth grabbing if you’ve got an eclectic collection going.
