Offered for sale is a vintage Minifon Hi-Fi Mini Cassette Spy Recorder with case. This unit is designated on the lid as a “Minifon hi-fi”. It uses a cassette style recording tape as opposed to the more typical units by Minifon that were reel-to-reel tapes. The model information from inside the unit is as follows.. These units were made in Germany around the 1950’s. This unit is in average cosmetic condition with scratches and blemishes from use and one of the plastic covers for a gauge on the left-hand side of the unit is broken and covered by tape (see pictures). There is no microphone but the battery compartment is clean. The leather case is in average condition as well with some stiffness and cracking but no signficant tears or holes. The shoulder strap is broken but both ends are included.
