Fully tested, Cassette deck 1 is NON functioning, you can hear it try to engage so this will almost undoubtedly be perished belt. Has been carefully cleaned and inspected cosmetically. Cassette deck 2 rewinds, plays and fastforwards without issue and there are no signs of cracks or damage to the case whatsoever. It does have the odd blemish and the odd scratch which you will be able to see in the pictures. I have seen these boomboxes listed for almost double the price with the both Cassette decks not working. The sound is brilliant considering its age. Full tracking details provided. XL Retro Amstrad 8 060 Ghetto Blaster – Vintage Boombox. T win Cassette / Radio / Record Player. A mazing sound out of this. All seems to be working well apart from the fold out record player – I did take a look & the belt looks fine. Its possibly a motor issue, but Im not an expert.
