The Akai AJ-R205 Boombox is a vintage 4-band stereo radio cassette recorder. With the Akai brand known for quality audio products, this boombox combines nostalgia with functionality, making it ideal for those looking to enjoy their favorite music on-the-go. The compact design of the Akai AJ-R205 makes it a convenient option for portable audio entertainment. Very good, gently used condition. Shows some age and wear and only a few minor blemishes. Please review the all original photos for condition specifics. Tested, everything including the cassette player works as expected. All the equalizers works, and nothing is missing or broken. The antennae is very good. The volume slider can be touchy but it does work. My guess is that the contacts regulated the volume slider may need to be cleaned. Includes the power cord, and the battery compartment is very clean – contacts are shiny and bright.
