The Vesna-310S stereo cassette tape recorder has been manufactured by the Iskra EMZ in Zaporizhzhya since 1985. The tape recorder provides recording of stereo and mono phonograms with subsequent playback. It is possible to: automatically stop at the end of the tape or if it is faulty; automatically adjust the recording level; control the recording level by peak indicators (on LEDs); adjust the stereo balance; separate tone control; use of two types of magnetic tapes; automatic switching of tape types. The noise reduction system reduces interference during playback. Power is supplied by six 343 elements or from an AC network, through an external power supply. The body of the tape recorders is made of impact-resistant polystyrene. The price of the tape recorder is 265 rubles. Tape type A4205-3 or A4212-ZB. Magnetic tape speed is 4.76 cm/s. The frequency range when using the A4205-3 tape is 63…10000 Hz, A4212-ZB – 63…12500 Hz. The flutter coefficient is ±0.3%. The harmonic coefficient on the LV is 4.5%. The relative level of noise and interference in the Z-V channel on the A4205-3 tape without SN is -48 dB, with SN -56 dB. The nominal output power is 2×0.5 W, the maximum is 2×1.2 W. The dimensions of the model are 425x130x85 mm. Weight is 2.2 kg. Since 1987, the tape recorder was called “Vesna M-310S”.
