VINTAGE SONY TC-D5M STEREO CASSETTE RECORDER W MANUAL, STRAP, HARD CASE & EXTRAS. This vintage example is used and in excellent cosmetic condition overall. The battery box is clean and free of corrosion. The meters work and both of them light up. The heads are in great shape. This unit comes with a carrying strap, a padded professional style hard case, the original manual, the original AC adapter and a brand new set of 3 belts included. It powers on and it played my cassette for a little while before it ate the cassette (which I rewound with a pencil). I decided not to try servicing this deck myself, I will leave it up to you. The switchable MPX filter of the TC-D5M filters out the pilot signal, and assuring proper Dolby processing of FM stereo programs. To make live recordings this deck has 2 microphone inputs to connect microphones with a jack connector. Connection to other audio components for playback can be achieved by a RCA cable and recording from a source by a RCA cable.
