Rare, vintage Pioneer CT-F700 stereo cassette/tape player. All the VU metres work, no scratching on output fader. The mechs do work, but i really recommend a good clean, de-mag and full service. Tried this with a few tapes, and whilst it plays tapes, with a clean sound, sometimes the tape stops after a bit. I found the better quality the tape the longer it played. RW- again works, but not as smoothly as FF. For those reasons it’s down for parts, I reckon it’s just a good old service due to not being used for a long time, but that’s as far as I can tell and I can’t confirm there aren’t any other issues that I maybe might have missed. But, my testing was putting a tape in and seeing how it played, and also recording onto tape. It really is a stunning machine, the sound is fantastic, if you know these you know how good they are.
