Tascam 488 portastudio analog cassette 8 track vintage recorder mixer preamp. PLEASE REVIEW PICTURES AND READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING. Item has discoloration, knob & switches missing, screw are missing from the back panel(can be seen in pictures), multiple nicks, scratches and parts are missing. Cassette deck opens but needs assistance to open fully. Knobs & switches need replacing. Unit powers up, rewind & fast forward buttons work when cassette tape is inserted but play button doesn’t engage when button is pushed. Item show signs of dust, dirt & fading. Overall item is in decent shape for its age. See pictures for details. Please understand this item is not perfect but with some refurbishing, repair and time this could be a great piece of equipment for the right individual. Feel free to send offers.
