UltraRare Vintage SONY TC-D5M Stereo Cassette Recorder / Field Recorder circa 1980. The item is especially rare and not many come onto the market. This recorder was manufactured in Japan. You item runs on 2D batteries but can use a 6 V adapter (Not included). I have tested the recorder and it is in good working order. Sony TC-D5M Stereo Cassette Recorder first came onto the market in 1980. It is sturdy and in great shape for its age. I found a a few cosmetic issues with the recorder. There is a ding on the top right back corner. There is a scratch on the plastic cassette opening. A small ding on front below the speaker. These are the blemishes that I found. There may be some tiny scratches on the cassette recorder that I missed. I have attached the specifications on the Sony TC-D5M Stereo Cassette Recorder in the picture gallery (#12).
