For sale is a hard to find Akai GXC-46D cassette player/recorder in excellent working condition. Seldom used and remains in amazing state. Inactive for some time and recently given a full 20 point tune up prior to posting. Detailed clean inside and out every crevice, every line, lubricated, deoxit all electronic and moving parts where necessarily important to assure static free operation with even some retouching involved in the process. Bench tested and passed with flying colors and ready to put in service for many more years to come by audiophile, enthusiasts, colletors and pros alike. The Akai GX series is one of the most coveted iconic name in high end electronics thus synonymous with high quality products in its day and still widely recognized universally today. This particular model is no longer in production and becoming harder and harder to track down, so grab one now let alone in this pristine and immaculate shape. Minimal superficial unnoticeable imperfections. Ideal for serious collector with intent to build a showroom. Exceeding 3 decades of tracking down and literally thousands of man hours invested in refurbishing, restoring, repairing these amazing electronic wonders to accumulate such magnificent concentration of historical analog importance you’ve ever seen! Some are new, used and few are part of my on going passion in what I do. Nonetheless, all has given equal meticulous attention and care to arrive in the integrity they once were and will be hard pressed not to admire aesthetically.
